Atkinson Samuel "Sam" Waterston (born November 15, 1940) is an American actor and producer and occasional director, noted especially for Academy Award-nominated portrayal of Sydney Schanberg in his 1984, The Killing Fields, and his Golden Globe-and Screen Actors Guild award-winning portrayal of Jack McCoy in NBC television series Law & Order. He has been nominated for several Golden Globe-,-Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA and Emmy Awards, after starring in more than eighty film and television production during the five-forty-year career. All movie Waterston has been marked "embed faithfully with his quietly charismatic, always solid performances." In January 2010, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Human centipede movie review, two American girls on a road trip through Germany

Human Centipede has been a subject on the minds and message boards of cult movie fans for a while now owing much of its infamy to its outlandish and disgusting concept.

For those unfamiliar, the film follows two American girls on a road trip through Germany. When their car breaks down in the middle of the woods they look for help to stumble upon an isolated villa occupied by a strange retired surgeon whose specialty was in separating conjoined twins. Soon the girls find themselves held captive by the German doctor, and they along with a Japanese man find themselves to be the subjects of a diabolical experiment. The deranged Doctor plans to be the first person to connect people via their gastric system, in doing so bringing to life his sick lifetime fantasy “the human centipede”.

Unfortunately the film as a whole begins and ends with its concept. Aside from a premise that promises to gross out and disturb, the film feels like it is killing time until it gets to the titular human centipede and once it does, it kills more time until it runs up to its forced conclusion.

There are a few bright spots to speak of such as handful of effectively shot and edited escape attempts by the aforementioned centipede as well as the performance of Dieter Laser who plays the diabolical surgeon. With a face that looks like a cross between Marv from Sin City and Boris Karloff, Laser makes for an engaging and menacing screen presence.

The film is written and directed by Tom Six who never seems to know what he wants to do with his film. Its tone is all over the map. Starting off silly and campy with the two female leads putting in performances that feel like they are channeling Molly Shannon and Sheri Oterry in a bad Saturday Night Live Sketch about being in a bad horror movie, all the cliché’s of the genre are here: a stormy night, dark creepy woods, a car with a flat tire, two women too incompetent to change said tire, and a foreboding house secluded in said creepy woods occupied by an even creepier doctor.

The dialogue is appropriately cheesy and there is awkwardly funny scene between the heroines/victims-to-be and a horny motorist after the girl’s car breaks down.

I should mention that the two female characters names are Jenny and Lindsay. I know this not because I checked the cast list but because every line they ever say to one another either begins or ends with one character saying the other character name.

All this almost works on a so-bad its good level, but once they are captured and the surgery is performed the film shifts into Saw-Lite melodrama. Which never quite works in this film because…

1. We are never given a reason to care for the two American girls because until this point the characters are portrayed as nothing more than horror movie props.
2. It never goes far enough with its concept to be effective on even the most base visceral level.
3. Despite the fact that the victims are crying and in distress, they are crying and in distress between someone else’s butt-cheeks.

I think the biggest flaw of the film is that it never truly embraces its weirdness. A concept such as Human Centipede should be allowed to let its freak-flag fly or at the very least make me want to put down my popcorn for fear of throwing it up, but it does neither and as a result if feels neutered and milquetoast.

I can’t help but wonder what the film could have been had someone like Frank Henelotter directed it. In his films such as Basket Case and Bad Biology, Henelotter never lets his films end with their outlandish concepts. He presents his bizarre and grotesque creations in all of their glory and even manages to bring a humanity to his perverse subject matter. Six’s film takes the lazy approach choosing to simply let his centipede stand on its own resulting in a film that has no legs.

Human Centipede will be opening in LA at the Nuart Theater for a midnight screening and other select theaters around the country on May 7th! And will be available on April 30 and available on Video-on-Demand on April 28th.

Miley Cyrus joint Acting with Demi Moore in 'LOL' (Laughing Out Loud)

Los Angeles - The ability of the middle of a budding actress, Miley Cyrus will soon be tested. In the comedy film 'Laughing Out Loud (LOL)', star of 'Hannah Montana' is set to collide with the acting senior actress Demi Moore '.

As reported by Celeb Mania, Monday (12/4/2010), 'LOL' is a remake of a French film of the same title that releases in 2008. The film also still tilled by Lisa Azuelos.

In the film, Demi will play the mother of Miley. 'LOL' is about the 15-year-old girl who was heartbroken for the first time, while the mother is recently divorced. They were together trying to find true love.





By the now aged 47 years, admitted very pleased to be working with Miley. According to Demi, Miley is very professional while still 17 years old.

"He is very great, and I'm also sure he's very down to earth," said By which also began acting at age teens.

The plan they will start filming in July. However, until now there is no information at any time 'LOL' start was released.

Los Angeles - After the 'Remember Me' and 'New Moon', actor Robert Pattinson career seems increasingly shine. Starring Edward Cullen was one glance to play the late rocker Kurt Cobain on the big screen.

As quoted by Contact Music, Friday (9/4/2010), reportedly, Courtney Love, widow of Kurt Cobain, Robert Pattinson wants to play god of grunge music was in the 'All Apologies'. Incidentally, Courtney is the producer of the film.

"Robert has been contacted and been in touch by email with Love." She (Courtney Love) does not really like the style of Robert, but Robert's main choice, "said one source.

In addition to Robert, Courtney also expect the presence of actress Scarlett Johansson in the film. He wants to star 'Iron Man 2' was playing himself.

After doing commercials as a child, Dash further honed her acting skills on TV in episodes of St. Elsewhere, The Cosby Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. After making her film debut in Richard Pryor's comedy Moving (1988), Dash featured more prominently as the object of Damon Wayans' affection in Mo' Money (1992) and as one of the recruits in Renaissance Man (1994). Dash's comic skills (and an ability to carry off outrageous hats with style) were put to clever use as Alicia Silverstone's best friend and fellow fashion plate Dionne in Amy Heckerling's Clueless. The history of Hollywood, Los Angeles, California 1920s-1940s : koptozie

Hollywood is a neighborhood in Los Angeles, situated west-northwest of Downtown Los Angeles.Due to its fame and cultural identity as the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word "Hollywood" is often used as a metonymy of American cinema, and is often interchangeably used to refer to the greater Los Angeles area in general. The nicknames StarStruck Town and Tinseltown refer to Hollywood and the movie industry.Today, much of the movie industry has dispersed into surrounding areas such as the Westside neighborhood,but significant auxiliary industries, such as editing, effects, props, post-production and lighting companies remain in Hollywood, as does the backlot of Paramount Pictures.

By 1920, Hollywood had become world famous as the center of the United States film industry.

From the 1920s to the 1940s, a large percentage of transportation to and from Hollywood was by means of the red cars of the Pacific Electric Railway.

Megan Fox dislike equated with Jolie
