Police allegedly said that the actor was "emotionally disturbed" when they arrived and "was subsequently admitted to The New York Hospital."

Sheen had been visiting NY with his ex-wife, Denise RichardsDenise Richards, accompanied by their two children.

According to Life and Style magazine, the incident became more bizarre because Sheen was allegedly with an escort at the time of the brawl, while his ex-wife and children were in another room in the same hotel.

When police arrived at the disturbance, the escort was reportedly hiding in the closet, naked. Sources say Charlie Sheen became even more enraged, and proceeded to scream slurs at the cops.
