Features of Etawa Hybrid

History of Etawa was come from India which called Jamnapari goat. Both of male and female are short-horned. This type of goat can produce up to three liters of milk per a day. Hybrid offspring (hybrids) Etawa with local called Etawa hybrid.



Developing on breed of Etawa hybrid based on some criteria:

1. Fattening.
2. Seeding.
3. Milk.

A. Females Etawa

1. Great body
2. Height more less 70 until 90 cm
3. Weight between 45 and 80 kg
4. Male body length 65-85 cm
5. Head straight, curve like line
6. The horn is led to back (usually short).
7. Ear length 10-28 cm
8. Nipples large and long
9. Feather color is various among black, white, fawn or a combination of three colours
10. Hairy thighs and hind legs long

B. Males Etawa

1. Great body
2. Height reach 90-110 cm.
3. Weight is 65 until120 kg
4. Body length 85-115 cm
5. Head straight, curved like line
6. The horn is led to back
7. Ears length 25-41 cm
8. Diameter of testicular for male can reach until 23 cm
9. Feature color is variou among black, white, fawn or a combination of three colours
10. Hairy thighs and hind legs long
